Campaign Terms

These terms apply to any sponsored placement, social distribution, promotional service or managed campaign arranged through MtaaniWeb. They work together with the Business Terms and Advertising Policy.

1. How a campaign starts

A campaign begins with a brief from you. MtaaniWeb reviews it and proposes scope, timing and fees in writing. Nothing is charged through the website automatically. Package prices shown on the site are starting points, and the final quote is confirmed in writing.

2. Fees and ad budget

A campaign has a MtaaniWeb service fee and, where it applies, a separate external advertising budget for platforms such as Meta, TikTok or Google. The two are always quoted, billed and accounted for separately. Where practical, you keep ownership of your own advertising accounts.

3. Creative and approval

MtaaniWeb reviews all campaign creative before publication and may ask for changes so that content meets our Content Guidelines and platform standards. Content goes live only after you and MtaaniWeb have approved it.

4. What you provide

You confirm that the offers, prices, images, claims and other material you provide are accurate, lawful and yours to use, and that you will honour any offer you promote.

5. Labelling

Sponsored and paid content is always clearly identified, and is never presented as independent editorial endorsement. A campaign does not buy a Verified badge.

6. Placement and timing

Placements run for the period agreed in the proposal. Where a platform or placement is unavailable, we will offer a fair alternative or adjust the period.

7. Results

MtaaniWeb provides performance reporting at the end of a campaign, using the data available from MtaaniWeb and from the advertising platforms. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

8. Payment

Payment terms, including the due date and accepted methods such as M-Pesa and bank transfer, are confirmed in writing when a campaign is agreed.

9. Promotional services

MtaaniWeb also offers smaller services such as birthday wishes, shout-outs, creator features, event features and featured placement. Prices are listed on the Work with MtaaniWeb page and may change. You send a request, we review it, and we confirm the price and details in writing. A request is not accepted, and nothing is scheduled, until we confirm it. We mark a request as paid only after payment has actually reached us.

10. Right to decline

We may decline, edit or remove any request that is misleading, harmful, unlawful, or against our Content Guidelines. Where we decline, we will tell you why.

11. Changes and cancellation

Changes and cancellation terms are confirmed when a campaign is agreed. Work already delivered and advertising spend already committed to third-party platforms may not be refundable.
