Service Agreement

By using MtaaniWeb services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

• The 48-hour starter site delivery period commences upon receipt of all required business information, including business name, description, logo or branding materials, and any preferred contact details
• A starter site project includes 2 revision rounds only
• Domain ownership is registered in the client name or managed on their behalf depending on the arrangement agreed at the time of order
• Hosting maintenance fees apply annually for continued site availability
• MtaaniWeb is not liable for delays resulting from incomplete or late submission of client information
• MtaaniWeb reserves the right to refuse projects that violate legal or ethical standards

Scope of Service

MtaaniWeb provides the following as part of the starter site package:

• Website design and setup (static starter site)
• Domain configuration
• Basic SEO structure
• Mobile optimisation
• Launch support via WhatsApp

Starter site build is scoped to a maximum of three pages as agreed at the time of order. Any additional pages, features, or structural changes requested after work has commenced will be treated as major updates and billed at the applicable rate. MtaaniWeb will notify the client before proceeding with any out-of-scope work.

MtaaniWeb does not provide:

• Advanced web applications or dynamic systems
• Complex backend systems or databases
• E-commerce functionality unless explicitly stated and agreed upon
• Enterprise-level software systems or large-scale corporate platforms unless separately scoped and agreed
• Long-term content management or ongoing site updates beyond the agreed scope

Additional Services (Business Systems)

In addition to starter websites, MtaaniWeb may provide custom digital systems for business operations. These may include but are not limited to booking systems, staff assignment tools, reporting dashboards, and internal management tools.

These systems are custom-built based on client requirements and agreed scope before development begins. Delivery timelines, features, and pricing are defined per project.

These services are distinct from starter websites and are not included in the starter site package unless explicitly agreed.

Starter Site Update Policy

Minor updates are included twice per annual renewal cycle and are limited to text edits only, including contact details, business hours, and copy revisions.

Structural modifications, design changes, new sections, image replacements, or multiple simultaneous change requests are classified as major updates and are billed at KES 800 per calendar month window. Within that window, the client may submit all required changes without additional charge.

All update requests are handled via WhatsApp and completed within 48 hours of submission.

Payment

MtaaniWeb accepts M-Pesa and other payment methods communicated at the time of order. Payments are non-refundable.

Site Continuity

Your site remains live for 12 months from the date of launch. Annual renewal at the rates listed on our pricing page is required to keep the site active. If renewal is not made, the site will be taken offline. MtaaniWeb will attempt to notify clients ahead of any expiry.

What We Collect

We collect only the information required to build your website and deliver the service. This includes business name and description, contact information, and any logo or branding materials provided.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for website creation and design, project communication and delivery, and domain and hosting configuration.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell, share, or distribute client data to third parties. We do not use client information for marketing purposes without explicit consent.

Business Systems Data

For clients using custom business systems, additional operational data may be collected and stored within the system. This may include booking information, staff assignments, job records, and performance or reporting data.

This data is used strictly to operate the system as intended for the client’s business.

Access to system data is restricted to authorized users defined by the client.

Data Retention

Client data is retained for the duration of the active service arrangement. Clients may request data deletion after project completion by contacting us directly.
